Welcome to the Amstrad section here at SoreThumb Retro Games. We stock a large selection of games, accessories and systems. Amstrad was founded in 1968 by Allan Sugar. Amstrad went on to produce the classic Amstrad CPC range of computers in 1984 complete with striking green keys. In 1986 Amstrad purchased the intellectual rights to Sinclair's Spectrum computer so producing the Spectrum +2 with built in tape deck and the Spectrum +3 with built in disc drive.
