  2. Toshinden S ( Saturn ) ( Import )

    Toshinden S ( Saturn ) ( Import )

    £5.50

Toshinden Remix or Toshinden S as it was called in Japan is a port of Takara's Playstation fighting game Battle Arena Toshinden to the Sega Saturn by Sega. It adds an additional secret character as well as a story mode for each character. These additions also hint at some of the plot twists in the game's sequel Battle Arena Toshinden 2. The games graphics took a huge hit in the port; the Playstation version really does look considerably better. Though the character model and arena for the afore mentioned port exclusive character looks notably better than the ported graphics. Toshinden Remix also redubs all the games voice samples with more light-hearted samples with over the top and arguably outrageous accents. Like the graphics, the game speed also takes a huge hit in this port running considerably slower than the Playstation original. Learn More

Sega Dreamcast Dream Blaster (PAL) ( Dreamcast )

    £9.00

The Dreamcast Gun is the official light gun peripheral for the Sega Dreamcast. As with other official Dreamcast peripherals, the Dreamcast Gun is said to be of very good quality and one of the most accurate light guns of the day. It also contains a VMU slot. The Dreamcast Gun has an unusual history due to the events of the Columbine High School massacre in the US. As a result, the peripheral was not sold in this region due to fears of bad press, and was therefore only available in Japan and PAL regions. The Dreamcast Gun is completely compatible with a US Dreamcast as well other versions of the console, but most NTSC-U Dreamcast games refuse to work with the controller, meaning the user must rely on imported software. Exceptions include the port of Virtua Cop 2 seen in the US-only release of Sega Smash Pack Volume 1 and the "Big Car Hunter" minigame seen in Demolition Racer: No Exit. Oddly Mad Catz were granted the rights to produce third party light guns for the Dreamcast in America. Their version, called the Dream Blaster, is compatible with all US light gun games, and is the only third party controller to contain Dreamcast branding due to the relationship between Sega and Mad Catz. Notes: Can only be used correctly with older CRT TV's Learn More

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo ( Saturn )

    £12.00

    Out of stock

A Tetris-like puzzle game featuring popular characters from many Capcom games. Colored gems fall from the top of the screen in pairs, but this time lining up those of the same color is not enough. To break the gems and punish your opponent with counter gems you have to place a crash gem of the same color next to the gems. If you make a block of gems of the same color they'll fuse, forming a power gem. Breaking a power gem sends more counter gems to your opponent than breaking the same amount of gems in some other configuration. But the ultimate attack is breaking power gems in chain. Learn More
  10. PGA Tour 97 ( Saturn )

    PGA Tour 97 ( Saturn )

    £2.00

This golf game is another entry in the Electronic Arts PGA Tour Golf series. Players can choose to play as one of fourteen professional golfers such as Fuzzy Zoeller and Jim Gallagher Jr. or choose to create their own golfer by giving them a name and choosing what their golfer looks like from the few portraits that are available. Players are then able to select what type of game mode they want to play. Game modes include letting the player practice a round of golf, compete in a tournament, have a shoot-out, or compete in a Skins game. The game features two 18 hole golf courses to play at. Both platform versions of this game include the Sawgrass golf course, with each also including a unique golf course of their own. The Playstation version includes the Spanish Bay links, while the Saturn version includes the Spyglass Hill course. When on the course, player select what club they want to use. They also can set the angle, pitch and backspin of the ball before taking a swing. They then have to aim where they want their shot to go. When shooting, players have to contend with the "Target Arc" power bar interface which effects the velocity and accuracy of each shot. This meter also factors the players risk in their shot by determining the degree of difficulty it would be to make the shot. Bold shots get rewarded while risky shots are not. The game also features TV style commentary and several different camera angles, including a picture in picture view. Learn More
